After School and Summer Enrichment

East End’s Youth Services create opportunities for children to engage in an extended day learning program that also operates in the summer, where youth practice their social skills, art abilities, and discover their hidden talents & potential. A major component of our program is geared towards increasing socialization, reading and cultural enrichment.

Youth engage in the following activities

* Before & after school care
* Summer Camp
* Tutoring and One on one mentoring
* African American History
* Youth leadership development
* Service and Self-help activities like Cooking
* Reading and Language
* Science exposure with an emphasis on environmental matters
* Arts and Music Activities
* Exposure learning and social trips (focus on college tours in and out of state)

In order to support youth’s development and success, we work with our own Neighborhood Family Support Services Program and the R.I.S.E. Collaborative (see below) to provide wrap around resources and specialized services. Some of our partners over the years include but are not limited to the Achievement Center of Greater Cleveland, and Murtis H. Taylor Human Services System.
